I manage several properties and I had Two local HVAC companies tell me I had a leak on one home & insisted replacement was needed. Those companies quoted 12k-15k with options. My friend referred me to Southwest Boiler & Mechanical to get a 3rd opinion. I was scheduled the next day and the experienced techs ran several different tests and established that I didn’t have a leak! I was happy to pay $630.00 for them to service the unit w refill of refrigerant! The following week I had an issue with an AC unit at another home and Southwest Boiler & Mechanical found the motor needed replacing on that one. This unit was under warranty and they coordinated a new motor installation and the cost was for labor only which took a couple hours to install. The cost was only $450.00 for that job. Other companies in Scottsdale have zero integrity and from now on I will ONLY be using this company!!! I am so impressed with the two jobs in this review and I strongly suggest not wasting your time with any other HVAC company. You will see the huge difference in hiring this honest and experienced best of the best company!!! Much gratitude!!!!! The owner of this company is a builder with several other sub-company solutions for residential and commercial jobs. I will be switching to this owner for all my go to needs and I’m confident that whatever area is in need that I will have the same rave reviews for anything else I need with this one stop umbrella solution!!!!

Stephan the owner was above and beyond. He helped me when I was in a very big pickle and replaced two furnaces and cooling units in incredibly quick time for my tenants. He was flexible and worked with me on payment and really help me out. A+.

Overall very professional experience. Their primary installer was very good with communication. They did not complete installation on original timeline and we had to be downgraded to a more basic thermostat, so just know that the confidence of their initial estimates and plans might change after youve signed and installation reality sets in. But overall I would consider hiring them again.

Was given same day service. The tech arrived during the window given. Made the diagnosis and gave a cost. Given a time of return the next day with needed part. Again the tech arrived durning window and made the needed repairs. Corrected the possible reason for the control boards failure which may have been a improper door closing alowwing water to drip onto board. Great job. Will recall when needed again. Thanks

Eric, the owner, great attitude and seem to care about customer service. The technician was professional, Kind and and diagnose my furnace problem within 10 minutes. Resolve the issue at a great price. He was efficient and quick. I would absolutely recommend Southwest heating and air conditioning.

I'd give them a 10.0 if I could. These people went above the call of duty to get our furnace working on New Years Day. Eric and Stephan, the owners, were AMAZING! Travis, who works for them, was amazing as well. They knew the temperatures were going to get down to 39 degrees that night, so were going to make sure that they got it working for us! I can't tell you how much they saved the day for us! They were so kind and amazing!

I met with Dave the owner on Friday and he offered me in addition to new ducting, an air scrubber,(we live right in the middle of Malibu Lake and had severe smoke damage from the Woolsey fire.) He explained how the new ducting would be installed and how the new air scrubber works. I chose the following Wednesday to have the job done. The crew showed up right on time, 8:30 a.m., and were all courteous and personable. They worked well together and got the job finished quicker than expected. Great company from top down. I highly recommend Southwest.

Had trouble getting needed part. Took 5 days to ship. Not really their fault except a faster shipping method Chosen would have been great. Other wise only problem was not complying with their promised arrival times. Like 30 minutes became 90!!!!

I explained very clearly to the company owner that we had an old floor furnace and someone would need to crawl under the house. My 6'1" 70 year old husband has done it several times. He sent a technician that was injured and unable to go under the house. He offered to send another person but I strongly had the feeling he wanted to just sell me a new system. He told me nobody would help us and that we were "just" trying to save money. Fortunately, we found a local plumber who fixed the problem: a clogged oriface for $80.

Very professional. Did a good job of explaining the problem and my options and answering all my questions.

Came out to do the project, for a $40 part they wanted to charge me $640 to install it, When I told them I wasn't paying that they left my unit disassembled in pieces. I would never contact this company again.

Very personable young man. but clearly had limited experience on older systems. I paid these guys more to not get my system back running then the guy that actually fixed it.

I don't know about this company's other business dealings, and I don't know whether Southwest Heating has a special agreement with HomeAdvisor since this app defaulted to ONLY this company. But, dealt with this company a couple of weeks ago. AC was leaking. Home Advisor app defaulted to Southwest Heating & Air Conditioning. Set up an appointment, they came by and did some nitrogen injection procedure, and we paid them $350. AC promptly leaked again that night. They came by the next day, came up with a different diagnosis, never acknowledged the piss-poor job they did the day before nor the money we already paid them. They said coil was leaking and it'd be a half-day to full-day job for $2500. Told them we'd call them back. Called Service Genius Air Conditioning for a second opinion. They sent someone over who had a different diagnosis, a clogged pipe piece, and total job was $225. It's been working flawlessly since. We're in the process of getting our money back from Southwest Heating & Air Conditioning, with or without our attorney -- explaining to dude at Southwest how they're either embarrassingly incompetent or just blatant shysters ... or both. Can't recommend the professionalism and honesty of Service Genius Air Conditioning enough, especially in an industry where companies like Southwest exist.

The workers were polite and personable. They went the extra mile and put in a couple of filters that we had on hand. We highly recommend this crew.
