They technically completed what was listed on the quote for the building site prep, but the overall result was disappointing. While they did move the material and roughly shape the area, the finished work looked sloppy and poorly executed. Throughout the project, they didn?t seem very knowledgeable about proper site preparation. The pad and surrounding grade lacked the clean lines and smooth finish you?d expect when preparing for a building. Instead, it looked uneven in places and generally unappealing. To be fair, they did technically complete the tasks that were written in the quote, which is the only reason this isn?t a completely negative review. That said, excavation work should involve more than just checking boxes. A proper site prep should look clean, deliberate, and ready for construction. This job felt rushed and lacked the attention to detail you?d expect from a professional contractor.

The crew did a fantastic job on my new house build. I used Gritty for all my excavation, foundation and flatwork and would definitely have them do my next project.

Itâ s great when you actually get the owner of the company to come out and do the job. It shows how important even the small jobs are. I couldnâ t be more pleased and satisfied for the work they did. Expectations were exceeded. Weather you decide to have another company do the work you should definitely give these guys a call.

Garrett and team did outstanding job from start to finish. The results were outstanding and the finish waterfront is vast improvement. The team did a great work and communicate with pictures and videos and FaceTime.

Garrett is great. He is prompt and does great work for a reasonable fee. I could not be more pleased, and would definitely hire him again.
