Very professional. Didn't play games with me like the other contractors did. They quoted me for what I asked for without adding any gimmicks or hidden add-on fees as the other did. They quick with repair calls, but were a little slow on new installation calls because they are busy and were booked out a good ways.

I hired Cromwell Energy to install a new efficient on demand heating and domestic water heater. They are very professional and do quality work. I am a tradesman so I can see the quality installation and experience of his crew. I have since hired them for other projects on rental properties that I own. Lou and Cromwell Energy are my go to HVAC company. I highly recommended using them. You will not be disappointed.

Cromwell Energy is a great company to do business with. I am a landlord with multiple buildings and they came right out and replaced several boilers in middle of cold snap this winter. My current HVAC company at the time could not come out for a week. I called Cromwell Energy and spoke with Lou the owner and the boiler was installed the next morning. Several weeks later they replaced another boiler for me with the same excellent service. They also came right out for repairs on other HVAC systems. Their prices are very fair and their work is excellent. I have been very happy with all their work performed

Excellent! I have used them for 4 years, and their services are consistently top notch. The techs show up on time, are neat, and courteous. Most importantly they are trained and have the skills to get the job done right the first time. As a result of these PM's, I have not had any of my systems fail (and they are 15 years old!). If ever there is a minor issue, they promptly return to remedy it with a smile. No hassles ever! Their service charges for the labor used on site, and any filters, etc., are reasonable. I will continue to use Cromwell Energy since they are totally meeting my households needs to stay comfortable, and have hot water. I will recommend them to my friends.

This was a truly outstanding experience from start to finish!  Lou and all of the employees at Cromwell Energy were extremely courteous, professional, and dedicated to doing the job well.  They promptly provided a reasonable estimate and patiently answered all of my questions to ensure that I completely understood the process.  The workers were very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous.  They worked extremely hard and went the extra mile to ensure that I had a working heating system before an upcoming cold weekend.  At the end of the project, they thoroughly cleaned every work area and the finished product is terrific. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience and would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a mechanical contractor. <br />

After the home examination we were promptly (~4 business days) issued three detailed quotes along with a note indicating that Lou wanted to walk us through the quotes in case we had some questions. This was accomplished efficiently through a combination of phone calls and emails. Once we decided on work to be done, an installation date that was mutually agreeable was selected. Lou explained exactly what the installers would do and how long it would take. <br /> On the selected first day for the installation, the equipment showed up along with two qualified installation technicians who introduced themselves and explained (again) what they were going to do. I was home during the entire process and periodically asked them specific questions which they answered fully and politely. At the end of the first day they cleaned up all tools and materials both inside and out. They explained how far they got and what would happen the next day (as well as when they would arrive). <br /> When the work was completed, Lou came around to examine the work and assure that I was pleased with the installation. He and the technicians then went through an equipment check to assure that everything was functioning correctly. This was done at the same time they explained to me how the system worked. (including the 'heating mode' and what happens when the reversing valve engages... they were very thorough). <br /> My overall impression from every member of Cromwell Energy that I dealt with was that they saw this transaction as the beginning of a business relationship, not the end. The technicians particularly seemed to approach the installation with the assumption that their employer would have responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and service of the equipment in the long run. There was no evidence of corners cut that I could detect. <br />

It went very well. They did what they said. They were very competitively priced. They were great with follow through. They were one of two companies, out of 8-12 that came out, that got back to us with finished quotes. They were very knowledgeable and gave us great answers to the questions we had that popped up.

Weâ ve been quite pleased with our furnace and air conditioning unit. We required a service call this week. We were treated courteously and promptly. Eric was our service provide and he was very thorough and efficient. He did the job quickly and explained the project to me in easy to understand terms for this non mechanically minded person.ð

Our a/c system in our newly-purchased home was leaking. We contacted them (through HomeAdvisor) and they came immediately. The issue was caused by a clogged drain, and we were also told that the system had been set incorrectly.

They are experts in their field, they listen and understand their clients, they are honest and upfront, and they leave the project clean.

For the past 4 years I have depended on Cromwell Energy to perform annual preventive maintenace on my two furnaces / AC units, plus hot water heater. They always show up on time, friendly techs who know their trade, and are very thorough in assesing each component. They are neat in their work and clean up after the job is done. If there is ever a need for a call-back due to a minor item, they are prompt to respond and courteous. Their charges are reasonable for the amount of time and marerials they use. I will continue to use them in the future due to consistently great service. I will also recommend them to my friends.

I had a furnace installed 20 years ago. Since then it has been serviced by four (4) well-known Oil companies. To my dismay, not one could figure out why my furnace would get DIRTY as often as it did. It even plugged up within a year. Cleaning after cleaning ($$$ spent). I became very frustrated. Based on a friends recommendation, I called Cromwell Energy. I was amazed at the professionalism of the entire team. When Lou and Rich assessed the furnace they referred to the manufacturer and was advised that the burner that was originally installed and since replaced by another company was not the correct one to begin with! They corrected the problem and I have been trouble-free since. Thanks guys. I wish more companies would provide this type of service.
