It took multiple calls to get somebody to come out. Every time I called. I got the "We will definitely be there tomorrow" response... But no one ever came until 3 weeks later. They needed to order a part but that was a month ago and they still haven't come back and they still haven't called. Finally called somebody else.

We been waiting since April 22,2025 to get our furnace converted to national gas from propane we even have our own parts. Called them a number of times and get nothing but the run around. Tried calling them lately and get nothing but the answering machine and NO CALL BACK.

I own the Culver’s here in Greenville, MI. Called for service on a reach in Freezer last Monday morning. No one comes Monday or Tuesday. I call Tuesday they say they will be there tomorrow. No one comes Wednesday, I call they say they will be there tomorrow. They come Thursday and leave, the freezer is still broken. I call and tell them they need to come back. No one’s comes. I call Friday, they tell me they will be there tomorrow. No one shows up Saturday and they are closed. Monday late afternoon they come again, and leave and it’s still broken. I call again Monday 5 minutes after they leave. No one comes back. It’s now Wednesday morning and they still haven’t come back. I am cancelling their service. A sweet older lady answers the phone but knows nothing about scheduling, timeframes, or anything other than writing down your information. Left me phone number for someone to call me 3 times and no one called. Absolutely no communication or consideration from this company.

We had a fantastic experience with the team at Cooper Mechanical! They were professional, answered all our questions, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. Shelley and Joe stayed till very late on a Friday night to make sure we had heat before a very cold, long weekend hit us. We are so grateful for their work and we will be going to them for any future heating/mechanical needs.

We have worked with Coopers for years. Absolutely love them. This year they installed a new furnace and air conditioner. They completed the removal and installation in one day. Their prices are competitive and they are very professional. I can’t say enough about them. Would highly recommend. Big thank you to Shelly, Alex and the entire team. Great work!!

Our thermostat lost power and called Coopers early Monday morning and had a technician (Alex) at my house before lunch. He diagnosed issue fast and replaced part and inspected and cleaned furnace. Very polite and knowledgeable young man. Very pleased with Alex for going above and beyond. Would highly reccomend.

We are so pleased with our service through Cooper Mechanical. My air conditioner wouldn’t stop running and my electric bill was high. Service technician Joe came out and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Highly recommend this family owned business!

We were SO impressed with Cooper Mechanical. Our furnace went out on a Monday morning. They sent out a technician that day. It was recommended that we have our gas pressure checked/fixed by Consumers. We did so and they sent out another technician on Tuesday (the next day). This technician spent a while (after hours, I might add) problem solving and making trips to get parts. He even fixed our water heater issues. Again, we were so impressed by their timeliness, quality of work, communication, and kindness. We will definitely be calling Cooper Mechanical again in the future.

I don’t write reviews unless I have a really bad experience. I have tried to use Cooper Mechanical twice now for two different services. I like to stay local but their service and communication is horrible. First was the summer of 2018 to install a new furnace and central air. They came out to our house checked everything out and said they would get back to us with a quote. WE HAD TO CALL THEM everyother week for two months asking for our estimate and they still didn’t have a quote for us. I said forget it and went with a different company. The second time I tried using their service was recently for maintenance. Due to all the power outages and ices storms we had our furnace went out. My husband called them on 2/8/19 to schedule service. They were out the same day to look at it and see what part needed to be fixed. They said they had to order it and should have it by Monday 2/11/19... again, WE CALLED THEM on 2/21 because we haven’t heard from them and they said “oh we just got the part we can be out there tomorrow” okay sounds good! No call, no show on 2/22/19. That was it for me. I said I no longer needed their service. I’ll use someone else who communicates and shows up when expected.

Cooper is always available when you have any issues! Very friendly and reliable!

Called weeks ago to have them come out and look at our gas fireplace! Said will have them call you before they come. Two weeks nothing. Called back and got answering machine . Leave a message we will get right back to you! Another two weeks have passed! I wanted to use them but NOT now!

We had attempted to set up appointments with them various times. They were not responsive to setting up a time or dates for installation. Also attempted to set up a check up on our furnace at our other residence never returned our call or showed up. Bad customer service. Would not recommend them.

I have had 2 appointments with them and taken time from work waiting when nobody shows up. Then when I call the answer is maybe we can be there later. Yet no call. This place is a joke. Go somewhere else!! *** Post Edit** While what I wrote above is very true they are very reasonably priced and we have had 2 emergencies (no heat/no ac) and they came out within a couple hours. They are good people they just need some office help in a bad way!!

We had our walk-in cooler go down on a 90 degree day putting thousands of dollars of groceries at risk at our restaurant. The owner and his daughter came out at 6pm on a Saturday evening and saved our business. Not many like this anymore !!

Our furnace went out Minday night and on Tuesday they came first thing in the morning. They assessed the problem and provided fast service at a very reasonable cost. Installed a new furnace and even did a couple other items for us. Would highly recommend them to people in the future.

They came to my house on a no heat call and were professional and took care of the issue in a timely manner

These folks were awesome. Our central air was down and they came out and had it running in no time flat. They worked around our time frame. I would highly recommend this company. Keep up the good work.

This the worst place you can have work done. I have call 16 times to get my furnace work on still can't find why it won't work right. They will call you when they on there way but never call . It's going on 3 mouths now . Post call today no call.

Called for a/c, got voicemail. Got called back, asked for service appointment. Was told a service rep would call the next day to set it up. It's 13 days later and still no call.

I called a week ago to get someone to look at my furnace still no show I have called 5 times to get an update have left messages no return call if you aren't going to show up or do the job at least call and tell me so I can find someone else to do the job...So I called Russell and they will be out today.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED and these are the guys who installed it.once again.....WORST SERVICE EVER
