He was incredibly thorough with the inspection and had a walkthrough with us to identify all of the key issues. He explained everything incredibly clearly, including what the implications were if we didn't do anything. He also provided useful recommendations on what made sense to get fixed immediately vs could wait vs what we could do ourselves. He takes an incredible amount of ownership in what he does and he treats the inspection as if it's his own home. We had Jeff Vaughn inspect our potential new home. I love how thorough he was.. he walked us around the entire house, pointed out everything & explained it well. He gave us options on how to make minor fixes to improve the life of certain mechanics in our house. I felt educated enough to make the correct choice for my family. I’d definitely recommend him or use his company in the future.

Josh was our inspector and he was phenomenal. We rolled with CalPro to inspect a house we wanted to purchase, and not only did he do an amazing job at it, but he also completed the report right as he finished the inspection and gave us a full walkthrough of everything important to look out for with the house. I’m impressed with the quality of work Josh provided and the pride he takes in his work. I can’t recommend these guys enough, all round awesome stuff! Edit: editing my review because there was an item that was flagged that ended up being completely fine. Our hvac unit is a variable speed and from the flagging I hired Jaguar to do a deeper inspection and found there wasn’t any issues with it. The main reason why I’m editing my review though is because even though Josh pointed out that there was a dent in the garage, he missed that the garage door was totally uneven when fully opened, the side track was bent, the garage springs were all crooked/rolled up, and there were sudden jolts while it opened and closed. After getting a garage door inspection it turns out the previous owners had fixed it just enough to be able to function at minimum. I get there’s lots of things the inspector has to go through, but I probably would have went with someone else for a more thorough inspection.

Incompetent, rude, and lacked all relevant knowledge. Steve Auteri performed the majority of the home inspection in my home. He came in and immediately demanded answers to my home not relevant or within his scope of work such as information about the utility lines that feed the home. He did not know any code, there were multiple times where I requested the code relevant to the “issue” and he said he did not know. Then I produced code showing he was wrong and he just shrugged his shoulders and said I do not know again. He made a huge mess in the attic assess area and caused damage to the walls. Lastly, AFTER going under the home, he came in with muddy boots and made a huge muddy mess throughout the house. In general every aspect about him and his inspection services showed a clear lack of knowedge and professionalism.

As a home seller we didn’t choose the inspection co the buyers did, omg they hired these children! Who came to our house made a mess and damaged $200 of our personal property! We called to see about why the damage was done and understand what they will be doing about it.. I spoke with an RJ who claimed to be the home services manager, he mentioned that the termite inspector was new, so his misdoings are now our problem? Who undoes P traps under the bathroom sink and ruins other peoples stuff..?? Pictures included to show how our property was treated. Andrea called back a day later, she did not mention her position nor was she any more helpful about the issues. I hope the buyers/new owners get these inspections for FREE.

Michael was excellent. He communicated well before his arrival. He had a lot of knowledge and was able to explain everything in detail with photos. He definitely adds value with his calm steady style of working with home owners.

Google listed as serves my area. Company took the appointment including looking up the property and verifying lot size, home sq footage, and specs. Waited several days until less than 24hrs before appointment to cancel on me for not being in their service area. Put home purchase at risk with inspection period date close. Unexpectedly unprofessional to cancel without providing an alternative or trying to make it work at such short notice. Would not recommend.
