We were in need of a AC/heater mechanic because someone was coming to inspect our house that's for sale. He was willing to come out on New Year's Day with his son. He found a small problem, charged us a service fee, said everything looked great. It was a blessing we weren't overcharged. Wonderful AC mechanic along with his son. Highly recommend him !!!!

Jake was super! Very professional yet so friendly and personable. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient, taking time to explain without being condescending. Got the unit up and running. He's our guy from now on!!

I used Ashford mechanical to work on my central AC which died. They gave me multiple quotes and guided me as to what they would recommend if it were their own house. They also offered third party financing which can come in handy. Five stars!!

Jacob/team were outstanding in every way. Totally consultative on what is best, and what makes sense, rather than trying to sell more stuff. I could relax and trust, not be on guard. In fact I switched to him for that reason, and he owns the company. Customer for life. UPDATE: 12/11/2024 Had a funny heater startup, fan intermittent and a thumping sound in the attic. Called Jacob at 1030, he was here by Noon, did a thorough checkout of unit, and of course the problem would not duplicate, but he was able to ensure safety, make some educated guesses, and discuss it with me in detail. All good, fast response, educational. Simple service charge for the trip. He is GREAT.

Jake Ashford is AMAZING. I can’t say enough to explain how honest he is. He came out and serviced my AC on very short notice. He had my system up and running very quickly. I thought I would have a huge bill when he determined the issue and it ended up being 1/4th the cost. This is a very friendly and honest company and I will always be a customer of his!

Jake and his team were truly awesome. They came and fixed a property where we are renting. They were patient with the property owner, and Jake even came by on his birthday late at night so that we wouldn't have to go another night without A/C. Good people and great service.

Dustin and his team replaced our old furnace from 1994. It was a tough job, but they worked hard and were very efficient. Dustin is a wonderful guy to talk to as they worked on the new installation. Price was very reasonable. We'll be calling them again to replace our equally old A/C.

This is the second time I have used Ashford Mechanical. I recently added a home generator for back up power loss. I wanted to run my A/C on my back up generator. Jake installed an easy start on all 3 units so my generator can handle. He slso addressed a condensation problem I had. Great service. Highly recommend.

Outside unit stopped blowing. I saw that Jacob’s mom recommended his company on Next Door so I called and Jacob came out the next morning! Found the issue and within an hour my a/c was working again! And was extremely reasonable! So very pleased with his service!

Jake, Dustin and the team replaced my existing 5 ton HVAC (gas furnace) system with a new system, and added a new 3 ton heat pump, which involved removing the old system/ducting and installing new. They were thorough, professional, courteous, and had great follow-through when there were issues post-install with the system not working reliably. Overall I highly recommend them.

Jacob Ashford performed an HVAC inspection in connection with a real estate transaction. His inspection was very thorough and professional. He was available on a short notice, went out of his way to complete this inspection and provided me with an excellent report of his inspection. I highly recommend this very capable technician for all your HVAC needs.

Jacob did what he said he was going to do, on time and on budget. A fair price, excellent workmanship and, when an ‘extra’ he did for free turned out to be more work than anticipated, didn’t charge anything more to do it. A nice guy too! I’d happily do business with Ashford Mechanical again.

They replaced 3 old ac units. Their bid was lower than the other bid and I got higher seer units. They also addressed two different safety issues the other contractor missed. We were having company over the weekend and a delay in shipping the units was causing us to go the weekend without air. Without asking, they came out to try and get the old unit to run until the parts arrived on Monday. Who does that? Outstanding service. I highly recommend!!!

We moved a few years ago and immediately had problems with HVAC. Two repair companies made several repair and diagnostic visits, but problems persisted and Ashford was the third repair service I had out to look at the same unit. Well they too could not get the heat going, and when the guys returned for a closer look they discovered that six of the eight safety mechanisms had previously been disabled! Not only was this unit not blowing heat, but it was a giant safety hazard running in my house for two years! Apparently the prior repair services missed all the signs, or ignored them and didn’t bother to let me know about the dangerous situation sitting above my kid’s bedrooms. So thankful Jake and his great service techs came out when they did. Replaced the unit and even helped me work with my insurance company. Can’t say enough good things about Ashford Mechanical!
