‼️Racist Store Alert: Garage at Tysons Mall📍 I was waiting near the fitting rooms and sat down on a chair placed in front of them to rest for a moment. A female store associate suddenly and rudely told me to stand up, without giving any explanation. Her tone was disrespectful and made me feel singled out. When I tried to find her to ask why I was treated that way, I realized she had already clocked out and was about to leave. I then spoke to the male store manager to explain what had happened. Instead of taking my concern seriously, he stood at the counter laughing and casually told the employee to hurry up and leave, continuing to smile in a dismissive way. I asked him why the employee was so rude to me, especially when many customers regularly sit on that chair. I also asked directly whether this kind of treatment toward an Asian customer could be considered racial discrimination. His response was simply, “It is what it is.” Later, he tried to justify the situation by saying that the chair was meant for employees, not customers. What made this explanation hard to accept was what happened next. After telling me to stand up, the same employee allowed another non-Asian customer to sit on that exact chair. This made it clear that the issue was not about store policy, but about who was being asked to follow it.

if i could leave 0 stars i would. it wasn’t busy at all and i stood there waiting for a fitting room, i just had one thing to try on and the lady just looked at me and said nothing and then someone came out the first fitting room and she said i can take whatever you don’t want and then another worker came and neither one of them paid any attention to me/didn’t give me a fitting room. so i left.

I purchased a shirt YESTERDAY and when I tried it on today, the string broke off. The store associates did nothing to try to make this right. They said they couldn't take damaged clothing which is ridiculous because they CAN take defective clothing but didn't do that for me.

If there were zero or negative stars for this store it would be more appropriate. The customer service here is beyond horrible. The employees are SO rude. They even pushed my brother out of the way in an empty section to grab something. They did not welcome us in, or have any basic customer service skills. It's embarrassing and appalling, considering this is one of the 2 only Garage stores in Virginia. Won’t be returning.

I recently was in Tysons shopping with my daughter. We needed help with sizes and Aniya went above and beyond helping us. She was so patient and really put in so much effort making sure we found what we needed. Our stop in Garage was our favorite shop of the day. In part because of the great customer service! Time with my daughter is invaluable. Thank you for helping to make it a great day for us ❤️

the clothes are so cute… super pricey but i think it’s worth it! However, every single employee that works there has the weirdest nastiest attitude. You can just feel the fakeness and annger stemming from them it’s concerning honestly. I understand yk people can have their days but as someone who works in retail as well K will never treat customers poorly just because i’m having a bad day. every single one of them. I never got her name but she had long black hair that’s all i can remember but she was the rudest person i have honestly ever meet. She was checking us out and I felt like I was at some military camp getting yelled at. Garage needs to get those employees in check cause they really ruin shopping experience.

Weird dots appeared on my white sweatpants after not even a week of having purchased them. Keep in mind this stuff isn't cheap. I went in person when I had time exactly a week after. I was turned down and told that there was nothing to be done. Went home tried to get these weird stains out myself and failed. I figured let's give them one last call just to try and hope for the best. Mary (I believe assistant manager) was so extremely helpful. She made an exception for me even though they don't take clothes without tags back. She was so nice and thoughtful of the money I had just spent and stains that I myself did not make. Was iffy about shopping there ever again until I talked to Mary. She told me to come in right away and she would take care of me. Thank you!!!!

Their clothing is undeniably stylish and keeps up with the latest trends. However, the customer service was disappointing. Despite my efforts to maintain a positive attitude, the employees were unnecessarily rude and unapproachable, which completely diminished the shopping experience.

I normally don't leave reviews the only way is if it is a horrible experience or an absolute great experience. This is an absolute great experience. I have been going to Garage for almost 1 1/2 years. My daughter loves this store. Every time I go to Garage I have the best experience. I get treated with a great greeting and customer services is absolutely the best. The manager Elle is wonderful. Elle is always very attentive to my daughter's needs and mine. If I need a smaller/ bigger size, different color she is always making sure we get what we need. Sometimes they may not have the merchandise but she also gives me other ideas like order online. Now a days it is very hard to go to a store and you get great services. I always look forward to going to Garage i know I will be treated with great customer service. I do recommend this store for shopping.

This is my first time ever visiting this store and I must say the stylist or regular employees are so sweet! A young lady even took clothing items off a mannequin for me ! They were very helpful with me today, but the passive aggressive and demanding demeanor of what I assume to be the manager towards the young ladies working there and customers made me super uncomfortable. I hadn’t even known she worked there due to her sunglasses and hat she had on. Due to this experience I will only return if she isn’t working. I hope those girls get a nicer manager!

Worked in retail for many years I always come to stores from that perspective. I came in yesterday, and despite only the manager(?) on the floor everything was super tidy, clean, and neat. Diverse sizing available, something other stores in the mall were struggling with. The manager needs a serious raise, you can tell the store was being held together by her sheer determination. Even as she was being pulled in multiple directions, she went out of her way to be kind and helpful to everyone. She went above and beyond to help me, frequently checking in and building a rapport. Will be returning!

this store has the worst customer service. I was in the changing room changing, and the number of how many items I had was hanging on the wall next to my fitting room, so the girls working knew that somebody was in the changing room. One of the workers pulled the curtain open to ask if I was done as I was changing? Another time I asked if I could try on a pair of pants that was on a manikin, because it was the only pair left in my size, and the lady working rolled her eyes at me and asked me if I was going to buy the pants. I told her that if they fit me then yes I would buy them. The manager came over as the lady was taking the pants off the manikin and asked her why she was doing that, when she explained the situation, the manager, then also asked me if I was planning on buying the pants. I told them that if it was too much trouble, they could leave the pants on the manikin and I could just leave the store. They allowed me to leave the store. every time I come into the store I expect bad customer service, but these were the two times that I could remember that stood out most to me. I never write reviews, but the constant treatment from the workers made me feel like I had to say something

One of the staff at the store was rude. There is no sign stating customers are not allowed to try earring and we had to buy the earring after trying it unknowingly. She said it’s common sense not to try an earring before you buy it. Jewelry stores allows customers to try earrings before you buy it. I have seen another staff being rude to another custom the past. Poor customer service. The company needs to train their staff better

I am appalled with how the staff treats you. I don’t really fault them as they are following corporate policy. But they don’t allow two people in the dressing room. My daughter was trying on jeans and I wanted to sit in there. Clerk told me I couldn’t because they need to manage the fitting rooms tightly to help with inventory loss. I am a older mom with work out clothes on and no purse (just wallet). So I couldn’t have hidden anything. I then asked to wait and sit in two other areas in dressing room area. Both requests declined. I do not appreciate being treated as a criminal. Use common sense!! I wish my daughter didn’t like the clothes there. I do not want to support them. So many other teen focused stores that do not have those ridiculous rules.

My daughter bought a tank top there and a section ripped as soon as she put it on. Spoke to the manager and she would not do a refund or exchange. Overpriced clothes with poor quality and poor management!

Horrible place, they treat you as if you are shoplifting, they ask and yell very loud “WHATS YOUR NAME?” “HOW MANY THINGS?” And they don’t leave you alone when you are in the dressing room. I get they want to make sure people are not shoplifting but how about they stop assuming everyone is stealing something? They all have an attitude and don’t even make you feel comfortable, they make you feel like you’re always being watched even when you’re in the fitting room doing check ups every 2 minutes. They need to use some context clues and see that some people are here to SHOP and feel COMFORTABLE while doing so, especially when trying on clothes. They need to be trained on hospitality instead of them acting like Loss Prevention 24/7. It makes people not want to shop there when you go in the fitting room, as if you’re getting patted down for security or something. Also waited 5 minutes in the fitting room whole a worker was standing talking about boys.

Me and my group of friends, young adults, were in garage and we had some ice cream with us. Nobody when we first entered told us that food wasn’t allowed. We were shopping for some cute outfits peacefully. disclaimer we were not interrupting anyone and not touching the clothes at all. A worker came up to us and asked us to leave because of our “fro-yo”. We started to exit as we said sorry. Then she yells, “yeah go leave”. We ignored her as we left. We will never want to experience this ever again. I will not be buying with works who stereos types customers for being young. This was at about 7:30 on May 27th.

I was a fan of this store but not anymore. I ordered an item online and they sent me the incorrect item. They could not take ownership and solve the actual mistake that they made. I called someone only to be told to go into an actual location. They failed to tell me no refunds or exchanges on weekends. So I drive to the store and no one knows how to fix the issue. Then I’m told no returns on weekend that I must come back on a weekday. This went from an easy online order to now having to drive back and fourth to the mall to fix a mistake they made. NOTHING WAS OFFERED FOR THEIR LACK OF COMMUNICATION. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were on the phone and too busy to speak to me. I will no longer give my money to this company. They have great pieces but not worth the hassle of dealing with their horrible customer service.

First of all Tiara i think her name is ! SHORTY NEEDS A RAISE RN! I always felt so weird going in bc i thought only skinny girls can dress from there! TIARA SAID NOPE YOU JUST THICKER THEN A SNICKER! Ugh i loved her vibe made me feel so good about my body & helped me find these amazing pants that fit so perfect! IM going to go back most definitely & ask if she got that raise y'all because she definitely doing her job. Didn’t hesitate to ask if she can help me with anything while she was working! Denied me purchase because the cashier or “system” thought my credit card was a debit card and insisted I put in the pin #. You do not need a pin to use a credit card. I used my card at other stores before and after going to this store so it was not my card acting up. I waited for a long amount of time in the dressing room line and the checkout line and am frustrated and embarrassed that I had to leave the store with nothing because they didn’t want to put that I had a credit card. Disappointing.

This is the best place! I bought a pair of jeans form here and stupid me as soon as I wash them! I got a bleach stain on them! Fu**!!!! I just bought them a week ago and never even got to wear them! 60$ wasted! But I thought, maybe if I go back they’ll understand and let me exchange the pants! The two beauties at the front said yes! Thanks sooo much!

Everytime I go in the store the cashiers are so rude. As a person in customer service, that is not how you're supposed to treat customers.!!! I personally love garage but they definitely need to choose better associates.

Carla or Kayla claims she’s a manager is has a very nasty attitude I walked out & didn’t buy anything because she couldn’t say excuse me she bumped me really hard & said it wasn’t that big of a deal really ruined my day
