Airrific Air Conditioning and Heating complaint escalation. Company called back on 9/8/2023 and owner Todd Case said he would not repair evaporator. I am now requesting a full refund of $3,382.50. Repair needed is to replace evaporator that was defective and installed improperly. His technician, Nathen Lebon, that came out on 9/7/2023 said he could nor repair the evaporator. Todd refused to give me the manufacturer contact information and pictures taken by Nathen to forward to another repair company. I contacted another air conditioner company and awaiting an appointment. Contact me to have original invoice/bill sent if needed.

It went well although, understandably, the trial and error problem solving required two visits. The problem was correctly identified as a faulty electronic control module on the air handler. The part was ordered and it was covered under our warranty. We were charged only $75.00 (a nominal amount) for the two diagnosis visits and were only charged $195.00 for the installation of the new part, as labor is not covered under the warranty. I was very impressed with the honesty and effort put forth by Airrific in solving and repairing our A/C problem. The owner of the company, Todd Case, personally handled the second phase of the problem solving and the fix. The communication from him and his office was top notch. I have been very impressed with the service provided by Airrific from the original installation two years ago, to the annual maintenance check-ups and this most recent repair.

This was the WORST experience ever in a field plagued work bad experiences! Don't even consider using this company. He is very pleasant and polite when you meet him the first time and we bought our entire system through him. From then on it was a disaster. Right away it quit working and we found out that it wasn't welded properly and there was a freon leak. We had to have that repaired twice, both times being without air conditioning for a day or more. Then we found out that there was some part that wasn't installed when we bought it and we had to pay $385 for that. Then the air conditioning went out for the 4th time in just over a year. This time it was a bad capacitor. Do you think that was covered under the warranty? Of course not. He wanted to charge us an $85 processing fee + + $85 service call. On top of that he was extremely argumentative and rude. Please don't think about using this company. I have never had such a bad experience with an air conditioning company and I on numerous properties. <br />

I was very pleased with Todd (field mgr) and Ben during their first call. Their customer service was everything I could have expected. They were on time, polite, extremely informative, and went a step beyond with even the little things to make sure we were completely taken care of before they left, including pulling strings to get us a same day duct cleaning which we desperately needed. The duct cleaning team were just as good. They too were polite, efficient and informative about further steps to take to conquer black mold. My only after thought was the cost of the ultra violet light we purchased but was far outweighed by our overall experience. This proves the old saying " You Get What You Pay For "

Prices for most units were very close. What I liked about Airrific was that upon my initial inquiry for an estimate the owner "Todd" came out to my residence. He not only was a bit less than my other quotes, but he also included free of charge the SED (Pressure Test) before installing the new unit to ensure that there was no major leakage of Freon. I was also was impressed with the service technician who did the actual install (DAVE) to his attention to details. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!
